We have had a property in Southwold since 2014. For the first 2 years we used a variety of cleaning firms, none of whom quite gave us the service we wanted. And then we came across the Housekeeping Company.
With the Housekeeping Company not only do we get a reliable, comprehensive, detailed cleaning service (delivered in a professional manner with teams who really know what they are doing), but we get the extra peace of mind which comes from knowing that someone is looking out for those little problems which, if left unchecked, can become big issues. They act as a perfect early warning system, ensuring our house remains welcoming every season, every year.
A particular benefit is the impressive array of workmen and contractors which the Housekeeping Company have within their network (literally mobilizing them at the drop of a hat). Best of all, they manage these contractors on our behalf (ie providing them with access to the property, checking their work, dealing with the invoicing etc). The peace of mind which comes from knowing that this is being sorted is difficult to overstate!
If you have a holiday home in Southwold then, unless you have a particular penchant for dealing with the inevitable, day-to-day, niggling and major maintenance issues that happen with every property, there is truly no better way to go than with The Housekeeping Company.

I simply cannot recommend the Housekeeping Company more highly!!! They are fantastic!
We have a property in Reydon and Jackie and her team keep an eye on it for us as well as doing end of stay, end of season and spring cleans. The house looks immaculate, fresh and clean in every respect. Even all those nasty little corners or edges in the kitchen, spotless! They can strip the beds, do the laundry and remake the beds. Clean ovens, wash walls and generally ensure that your property is a joy to behold. It is all done quickly, efficiently and reliably.
The cost is very reasonable and 100% worth it. Honestly, I couldn’t cope without them and Jackie is always so welcoming, nothing is too much trouble. A real “can do” person.
